Terms of use

The terms that apply to the Podcoast app and this website.

Last updated 17 September 2026

By using Podcoast you agree to these terms. They are meant to be short and to say what they mean.

The service

Podcoast provides an app for discovering and listening to podcasts that are published as public RSS feeds. The app is provided as it is. We try to keep it working and available, and do not promise that it always will be.

Podcast content

Podcasts are made by their publishers, not by us. They own their episodes, and their content is theirs — including any of it that you find objectionable or inaccurate. Clips are excerpts presented with attribution and a link to the source episode. If you hold rights in a show and want it handled differently, see For podcasters; requests from a verified show contact are acted on.

Your use of the app

Do not attempt to redistribute audio obtained through the app, interfere with the service, or use it to break the law. Downloads are for your own offline listening on your own devices.

Accounts

You are responsible for the account you create and for keeping access to the email address attached to it. You can delete your account at any time; see the privacy policy. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Podcoast is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us.

Changes

These terms may change. Continued use after a change means the new version applies, and the date at the top of this page is when it last changed.
